Max Boyer Suffers Concussion

On Saturday, March 22nd, Max Boyer suffered a minor concussion during a triple threat match against  El Generico & Kevin Steen at IWS’s Know Your Enemies event.  The Doctor has advised Max to stay out of the ring for at least 4 weeks, which will keep him out of his April 13th tournament semi-final’s match against Michael Elgin.  This is already the second change to the tournament semi-finals match up.  Sexxxy Eddy was previously signed to wrestle Max Boyer, however Eddy, who is working for IWA-Mid South on both Friday and Saturday, will not be able to arrive in Toronto in time for the show.  Although major changes have been made to the CWR World Championship tournament brackets, we assure you that we are working extra hard to bring you the best we can possibly offer.  We are currently in talks with some of the world’s best athletes, and we will soon announce who we have chosen to step in as Max Boyer’s replacement.  All we can say at this point, is that either one of the wrestlers we are in talks with, will definitely create a huge buzz and is sure to give you great fans a top-quality, world class match up.
