CWR World Heavyweight Champion to be crowned at The Inaugural Canada Cup of Wrestling!

After months of failing to book a semi-finals match up in the CWR World Title Tournament, CWR officials have announced that a CWR World Champion will finally be crowned on June 8th, 2008 at the Canada Cup of Wrestling.  The decison came, when CWR was informed that semi-finalist, Max Boyer re-injured his head injury that kept him out of the Back In Business show, and will not be able to compete until the fall at the very earliest.  Rather than push the tournament further yet again, CWR managagement has decided that it only made sence than to crown a champion as soon as possible.  With this said, the winner of the Canada Cup of Wrestling will not only have the honour of defeating some of the top wrestlers in all of Canada, he will also become the first ever CWR World Heavyweight Champion.  Each compeditor was told about this new situation, and one man Kobra Kai was furious at the decision.  His arguement was valid, as last year he defeated two of the top athelets Canada has to offer in Kris Chambers and TNA Superstar Bobby Roode, to advance to the finals of the CWR World Heavyweight title tournament.  Because of this, it is only fair that we give Kobra Kai a first round bye in the tournament.  5 of the 7 compeditors have allready been announced, and we are carefully deciding who the final two will be.  Now with the new prize on the line, you know each compeditor will do all he can do add this prestegious honour to his resume. The first ever Canada Cup of Wrestling will definetly be something you can't afford to miss!
